Thanks largely to the efforts of Carrick's Mural Champion, Natalia Rudiak, we were chosen by the Sprout Fund as 1 of 7 neighborhoods to benefit from the 2008 Public Art Program.

                                                                   We're Getting A Mural!

 The mural is a collaboration between the artist and the community

   Public input is seriously needed right now.

Thursday May 15th, 6 - 9 pm, Concept Art Gallery in Regent Square, 1031 Braddock Ave.  Exhibition of Preliminary Designs.  From all the artists for all 7 neighborhoods. Come and meet artists, and give your opinions.  Discuss with fellow Carrick Citizens!

May 16th - May 29th  Carrick Carnegie Library.  The Finalists will be displayed.  Stop in to the Library and cast your preliminary votes.

UPDATE:

Final Selection will be made at an open meeting in Carrick High School's Auditorium at 12 p.m.  MAY, 31ST

Artists will make 15-minute presentations of their works.
